This website  is an exercise in ‘world building’.  This world is constructed around the fortress prison of Shadowfall and the LightBringer Estate.  It is intended to explore the the people and creatures who live in the lee of the fortress, thriving in the protection of ShadowFall.  It will also discuss the societal norms of the island kingdom of which it is a storied part, known for its spiritual centre, and its infamy as a prison that grew out from an ancient Roman ergastula.
